Kelly Cosgrove

Kelly Cosgrove joined the West Virginia University baseball and golf programs in July 2022, and serves as the Mountaineers’ assistant strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports.
 
Cosgrove arrived in Morgantown following a stint at Clemson from 2021-22. While there, she was in charge of all aspects of athletic performance for men’s and women’s golf, men’s rugby and assisted and traveled with the baseball team. She oversaw the implementation and analyzation of GPS data for the Tigers’ baseball program and assisted in lower-half pitching mechanics, as well as hitting and pitching interventions.
 
Prior to that, Cosgrove served as a strength and conditioning coach at Murray State from 2020-21. She also previously spent time at Stony Brook (2018-20), Dartmouth (2016-18) and Connecticut (2015).
 
At Murray State, Cosgrove was the director of strength and conditioning for Olympic sports and worked with a variety of teams, overseeing the weight room budget, scheduling, the Racers’ internship program and social media platforms. She also collaborated with various departments on campus to improve the student-athlete’s overall college experience. Before that, Cosgrove gained baseball and softball experience at Stony Brook and Dartmouth as an assistant performance coach.
 
A native of Long Island, New York, Cosgrove graduated with a degree in applied exercise science from Springfield College in 2015. She also earned her master’s degree in nutrition at Stony Brook in 2020.
