Greg Iversen

Greg Iversen joined the West Virginia University athletic maintenance staff in December 2018 as Turfgrass Manager and in June 2021, was promoted to maintenance supervisor.

In his current role, he is responsible for with the maintenance and upkeep of West Virginia University’s athletic facilities, including Milan Puskar Stadium, WVU Coliseum, Caperton Indoor Practice Facility, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, WVU Wrestling Pavilion, Cary Gym, Natatorium, Shell Building, Mountaineer Track, tennis courts and all practice fields. He supervises a staff of five who assist him in the day-to-day operations and preparations for athletic events in all 18 Mountaineer sports.

In his prior role he was in charge of overseeing all of the Mountaineers’ athletic surfaces, both natural and synthetic.
 
Iversen spent the last seven years working at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania, as its golf course superintendent.
 
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in turfgrass management in 2012.
 
The Hermitage, Pennsylvania, native currently resides in Morgantown.
