Gina Ezelle joined the Mountaineer Ticket Office in March 2019 and was promoted to ticket assistant in July 2019. She assists in ticketing’s daily operations supporting West Virginia University’s 18 intercollegiate sports and serves as the ticket manager/primary for women’s basketball.

Ezelle began her career at WVU as an administrative assistant with the Klingberg Center, a division of WVU Pediatric Medicine, from 2006-2009. She later worked in student services from 2009 to 2016 as a Financial Aid Counselor. In this role, she served as WVU’s point of contact for the WV Promise Scholarship; overseeing academic qualifications for scholarship renewal and reconciliation of a 30M annual budget.

Ezelle possesses two undergraduate degrees from West Virginia University: a bachelor’s in English and sociology in 1998, as well as completion of graduate level work in higher education administration in 2009 and business administration in 2014.

The Fairmont native has two children: daughter Jocelyn, a student at Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, and a son, Moses, who attends Morgantown High School.

When she’s not working behind the scenes cheering on the Mountaineers, Gina is at home in Fairmont caring for Omar the dog and Shadow the guinea pig, reading or sewing. On autumn Sundays, she exchanges blue for black and supports the Pittsburgh Steelers.
