Brandon Hardy

Brandon Hardy joined the Mountaineer student-athlete development staff in 2023 as an academic counselor.
 
In this role, he is responsible for providing academic support for men’s and women’s swimming and diving and volleyball in the areas of study skills, note taking, time management, test-taking strategies, personal and skill development and instruction in course work.
 
He monitors and documents the academic progress of the student-athletes, assists the students with course schedules and selecting academic majors and helps student-athletes with learning disabilities to acquire and use accommodations.
 
Hardy previously served as a graduate assistant in athletic academic advising department at the University of Richmond where he worked with men’s basketball and men’s and women’s track and field and cross country.
 
His prior work experience includes an internship in athletic academic advising at Old Dominion University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in sport management in May 2022. He completed his master’s degree in sport leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University in April 2023.
 
While at ODU, he worked in the sports communications and sports facilities departments as an undergraduate student.
  
Hardy resides in Morgantown.
