Aniebiet Okon joined Mountaineer athletics as its assistant director of graphic design in November, 2023.
In this role, Okon will assist in the coordination of graphic design efforts for the athletics department, while developing graphic and social media content for the athletics communications and marketing departments on a daily basis.
Okon’s prior work experience includes a graphic design internship at Queensboro FC in Queens, New York, where he helped develop and deliver the USL team’s visual identity, and a graphics design internship at the University of Rhode Island, where he received a degree in public relations and sports media and communications in May, 2023.
In his spare time, he enjoys cheering for all Boston sports teams, particularly the Celtics where WVU graduate Joe Mazzulla is the team’s head coach, and listening to music, playing basketball and working out at the gym.
He resides in Morgantown.
