MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team completed the second day of the Dalton Ebanks Invitational on Saturday night in Fairfax, Virginia.
Freshman Lily Haught started off the day with a sixth-place finish in the women's 400 meters, running for a personal best time of 58.04. Classmates
Mae Nelson and
Cate Pickering added times of 1:02.34 and 1:02.78, respectively.
In the women's 1,500 meters, redshirt sophomore
Emily Bryce ran for a time of 4:36.61 to finish sixth overall. Freshman
Eva Rinker added a personal best in the event, with a 4:41.18 time.
Next up, West Virginia will send split squads to the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic on April 11-14. The Bryan Clay Invitational will take place at Cougar Athletic Stadium in Azusa, California while the Bison Outdoor Classic is set to take place in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania at the Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium.
